THE STORY

Communication Networks Australia (CNA) was founded in 1994 by Harry James and Kevin Hicks with a combined experience of 50 years in the communications industry. Harry retired in 2013, however Kevin Hicks still remains in the role of General Manager bringing decades of experience to each project undertaken by CNA.

CNA continues to focus on providing high quality voice and data installations for their customers while also providing a positive work environment for their team. Due to this focus many of the staff having been with the company for a long time, some over 20 years, allowing CNA to foster & keep high quality workers with vast knowledge themselves.

PREVIOUS PROJECTS

CNA in 1996 was initially awarded a 5 year renewable contract for all cabling activities within the North Brisbane Hospital Board which included:

• Royal Brisbane Hospital

• Royal Children’s Hospital

• Royal Women’s Hospital

• The Prince Charles Hospital and associated facilities

CNA since then has continued as a cabling contractor to these sites.

Over the years CNA has completed numerous installations in the Government, Commercial & Education Sectors.
